Group of technology method

good morning every one. in this beautiful morning, it is good to start with doing good thing. :)
i am starting this morning to share group of technology layout and practice an english. Therefore this post is being written in english.

 group of technology layout is grouping facility or machine that placed in one manufacturing cell, becuase it has the same process. this type are often called combination between product layout and process layout. there are two types basic method of group technology layout:
1. classification method
2. cluster analysis method

disadvantage of this layout, we must select operator who have high skill

advanatges of this layout are
1. reducing the use of production floor space
2. reducing the frequency of movement material handling
3. reducing set up time and production time
4. shorten production cycle
5. reducing machine operation and numeric control
6. reducing "working in process" inventroy
7. identifying a bottleneck easily
8. increase the use of material handling, equipment and production equipment  
9. reuduce scrap
10. doing inspection easily
11. give a good quality for the output
